Lot 430: An Edwardian English Leaded Stained Glass Window Panel X5
This leaded stained glass window panels features a central symmetrical geometric motif composed of green, amber, and ruby-toned glass. The central design is set against a background of rectangular panes of clear glass with a hammered texture. The construction utilises traditional lead cames to secure the various glass elements. The piece reflects early 20th-century design influences, specifically the Arts and Crafts and Art Deco movements. An orange identification sticker is adhered to one of the clear glass panes.
Condition report:
The panel exhibits signs of age and wear consistent with its period. There is an accumulation of surface dust and grime across the glass and lead work. Oxidation is visible on the lead cames.
