Lot 297: A Large Antique-Style Copper and Brass Cauldron on Pedestal Base
A large metal vessel of hemispherical form, constructed from copper with brass elements. The body features a broad riveted band situated below the rim and is flanked by two side loop handles. The vessel is supported by a circular pedestal base decorated with a rope-twist border. The exterior displays a pronounced dark patina, while the interior shows evidence of significant weathering and oxidation. An orange auction sticker marked 297 is adhered to the exterior.

The item exhibits surface wear, oxidation, and minor indentations consistent with age and utility. Significant verdigris and weathering are visible to the interior.
