Lot 665: An Early 20th Century Painted and Turned Wood Police Truncheon
An early 20th-century British ceremonial police truncheon of turned wood construction with a dark-stained finish. The design features a ribbed grip and a rounded pommel, with an integrated leather wrist strap secured by metal rivets. The upper section is embellished with hand-painted and gilded ornamentation, including a royal crown and scrolling foliate motifs. Two contemporary inventory stickers are present on the midsection.
