Lot 6: Vintage Sparklets Soda Syphon
A mid-twentieth century soda syphon manufactured by Sparklets in England. The bottle is constructed from clear glass with decorative vertical fluting. It features a cream-coloured plastic head assembly with a red trigger lever and nozzle tip. A red rubber seal is positioned between the head and the glass shoulder. The glass shoulder is embossed with the text SPARKLETS, REGD TRADE MARK, and MADE IN ENGLAND. Two adhesive labels are present: a white rectangular sticker numbered 12 and an orange adhesive sticker marked 9.
Condition report:
The glass body is structurally sound with no apparent chips or cracks. The surface is heavily soiled with dust and requires cleaning. The plastic head shows age-related yellowing and surface grime. The nozzle cap and trigger lever are intact. The threaded metal CO2 charger holder is missing from the rear of the head assembly. Internal functional components, including the glass dip tube, are untested.
