Lot 472: Mid-century Modern Two-tier Wooden Drinks Trolley with White Laminate Trays
A mid-century modern style mobile drinks trolley featuring a two-tier rectangular design. The frame is constructed from a light-toned hardwood, possibly beech, with upright supports and horizontal rails that create a protective lip for the trays. Both levels are fitted with white laminate or melamine surfaces, designed for durability and ease of cleaning. A curved, tubular chrome-finished metal handle is mounted to the upper frame at one end. The unit is supported on four small metal swivel ball casters for ease of movement. This design is typical of mid-20th-century utility furniture produced in Britain and Scandinavia during the 1960s and 1970s.
