The item features a classic crook-shaped handle made from polished steam-bent wood. The shaft is constructed from a sturdy natural wood, likely hazel or chestnut, finished with a smooth varnish. An integrated folding seat is mounted to the upper part of the shaft, consisting of two panels of stitched brown leather supported by a black-painted metal frame. This mechanism allows the leather panels to unfold and provide a small perched seat for use in the field. The handle is secured to the shaft by a metal collar.
