This lot comprises two large-format hardcover reference books and a boxed piece of calendar ephemera. The primary volume is The Royal Horticultural Society Gardeners’ Encyclopedia of Plants & Flowers, edited by Christopher Brickell. This work is a comprehensive botanical reference featuring a dark blue dust jacket illustrated with a grid of colour photographs. The second book is titled One Hundred Years of the Motor Car 1886 to 1986, a large-format hardcover with a black pictorial dust jacket depicting a range of vehicles from early horseless carriages to a modern red Audi. Included with the books is a boxed desk calendar titled The Far Side 1995 Off-the-Wall Calendar by Gary Larson, featuring his characteristic cartoon illustrations and noted as containing favorites since 1980. All three items have orange and white adhesive price labels applied to their front covers. The books are bound in publisher’s cloth with original pictorial dust jackets.

The dust jackets on both volumes show visible surface scuffing, edge wear, and minor creasing to the extremities. The calendar box exhibits rubbing and shelf wear to the corners and edges. Adhesive labels are present on the front of all items, with some potential for residue upon removal. The internal contents of the volumes and the calendar have not been physically inspected for markings or completeness.
