An assortment of domestic ceramics and household utility wares, primarily featuring white-glazed earthenware or ironstone pieces. The group includes a large oval serving dish with a conforming lid topped by a central circular knob handle. Also present is a substantial circular white-glazed bowl with a single loop handle, characteristic of a traditional chamber pot, resting upon a circular silver-plated twin-handled tray. Contained within the bowl is a contemporary glass salad dressing shaker with printed measurement scales. The collection further includes a dark-stained wooden box with decorative metal corner mounts and a hinged lid, a ceramic cabinet plate featuring a central floral spray and gilded rim, a dark-glazed earthenware vessel, and a tan-glazed stoneware jar with a partial label. No maker marks are visible on the primary ceramic items.
Condition report:
A small chip is noted on the edge of the lid belonging to the oval dish. The silver-plated tray shows surface scratching and minor tarnishing. General wear, surface marks, and fine crazing consistent with age and domestic use are present across the collection.
