A collection of cut lead crystal glassware featuring a design in the style of the Lismore pattern by Waterford. The suite is constructed from high-quality lead crystal with deep-cut decoration consisting of a diamond-point lattice to the lower portion of the bowls, a horizontal mitre cut, and a plain flared rim. The assortment includes stemmed wine glasses in two sizes, heavy-based tumblers, and a tall flared-rim footed vase. The stems are multi-faceted and lead to circular feet with a multi-pointed radial sunburst cut to the underside. The tumblers also feature matching radial star-cut bases. Several pieces have secondary market stickers or auction labels with the numbers 15, 3, or 270. No manufacturer’s marks or signatures are visible.
Condition report:
The collection is in good condition, showing bright, clear glass with no signs of clouding or glass sickness. The cutting is crisp and well-defined. No chips, cracks, or repairs are evident. There is minor surface wear consistent with age and light use.
