Lot 271: A mid-century dark mahogany ranch stroller coat with shawl collar
This mid-length stroller coat is constructed from dark mahogany ranch fur, characterised by its deep brown colour and high-gloss finish. The body of the garment features vertical pelt construction, while the sleeves are worked in a contrasting horizontal pelt arrangement. The coat is designed with a wide shawl collar and fastens at the front with two concealed furrier’s hooks and elasticated cord loops. It is fully lined with a dark chocolate brown synthetic or silk-blend fabric. No maker’s labels are present. The item is presented on a floral padded hanger with an auction lot tag numbered 271.
