Buyer's Premium:

This lot consists of three United Kingdom silver crowns. Two are the 1935 ‘Rocking Horse’ Silver Jubilee crowns of King George V (KM# 836). These feature the uncrowned portrait of King George V on the obverse and a modernistic interpretation of Saint George and the Dragon by Percy Metcalfe on the reverse. The third coin is a 1937 Coronation crown of King George VI (KM# 840), displaying the uncrowned portrait of the King on the obverse and a crowned royal shield on the reverse. All three coins are struck in a .500 fine silver alloy with reeded edges. These issues represent historically significant commemoratives of the early 20th century.
Diameter: 38.6 mm
Weight: 28.28 g
Metal: .500 Silver.

Condition report:

The coins exhibit typical wear patterns from light circulation. The 1935 specimens show moderate wear on the high points of the hair and the Saint George figure, with natural toning in the recessed areas. The 1937 crown retains better detail on the reverse shield and exhibits light surface hairlines consistent with handling. Overall condition ranges from fine to very fine.
