A collection of three silver coins issued in the United Kingdom under the reigns of George V and George VI. The group consists of a 1931 florin (two shillings), a 1937 florin, and a 1937 half crown. These coins are struck in .500 fine silver. The 1931 florin (KM# 834) features the George V left-facing bust on the obverse and a cruciform shield design on the reverse. The 1937 florin (KM# 855) and 1937 half crown (KM# 856) both feature the George VI left-facing portrait on their respective obverses. The 1937 florin reverse bears a crowned rose and thistle design, while the 1937 half crown reverse shows a crowned shield of arms. All coins include the titles FID: DEF: IND: IMP on the reverse and feature milled edges.


Condition report:

All coins are in circulated condition, generally grading as fine. There is moderate wear to the relief of the portraits and heraldic details. Surface marks and light scratches are visible throughout the lot, accompanied by dark, uneven toning.
