This lot consists of two pieces of decorative porcelain finished in a blush ivory palette, characteristic of late 19th-century English manufacture. The first item is a bulbous jug with a basket-weave textured body, featuring an applied three-dimensional lizard in a gilt finish. The jug includes a branch-form handle and a flared, scalloped rim, both decorated with gilding. The second item is a small cabinet vase with a tapering form and a ruffled, asymmetrical rim. It is decorated with a floral spray of pink roses and has a branch-form handle. The ground colour graduates from cream at the neck to a deeper yellow at the base. No factory marks are visible on the pieces shown. Both items feature inventory stickers.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good condition. There are no apparent chips, cracks, or restoration. There is some light rubbing to the gilded elements on the handles and rims, and minor surface dirt is present.
