Lot 240: A Pair of Blush Ivory Twin-Handled Porcelain Vases Attributed to Royal Worcester
This pair of porcelain vases is attributed to Royal Worcester, decorated in the factory’s characteristic blush ivory palette. The items comprise one ovoid-form vase with a slender fluted neck, pedestal foot, and ornate pierced scroll-moulded handles, alongside a second squat globular-form vase with a flared neck and twin loop handles. Both pieces feature hand-painted polychrome floral sprays including roses and pansies, set against a graduated matte ground that transitions from cream to a soft apricot tone. Gilded highlights are applied to the handles, rims, and bases. No maker’s marks or backstamps are visible in the provided images; orange adhesive labels are present on the rims.
