Lot 129: A Collection of English and Continental Decorative Porcelain Teacups and Saucers
An assortment of decorative porcelain and bone china teacups, demitasse cups, and saucers featuring a variety of patterns and styles. The collection includes pieces decorated with hand-painted floral motifs and butterflies, others with wide cobalt blue bands and heavy foliate gilt scrollwork, and a cup and saucer set with a blue cracked ice ground and floral sprigs. Several items feature scalloped rims and gilt-toned handles. The decorative techniques include a combination of hand-painting and transfer-printing with gilt highlights.
