Lot 46: A Pair of Rowton Cut Crystal Commemorative Whisky Tumblers
A pair of cut crystal whisky tumblers by Rowton. Each glass features a traditional geometric design to the lower portion with vertical wedge cuts and diamond cross-hatching. One tumbler is acid-etched with a commemorative inscription reading WITH GRATEFUL THANKS arranged in a curve above the NHS logo and MORECAMBE BAY HOSPITALS NHS TRUST below. The glasses are presented in a navy blue satin-lined gift box. The lot includes a manufacturer’s care leaflet detailing the Rowton crystal making process.
Condition report:
The tumblers are in good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or visible clouding. The presentation box shows minor shelf wear and light fraying to the satin lining.
