Lot 47: A Set of Stuart Crystal Gloucester Pattern Cut Glass Tumblers
A set of cut lead crystal tumblers by Stuart Crystal, England. The glasses are decorated in the Gloucester pattern, which features a lower register of diamond-cut cross-hatching beneath a series of vertical wedge cuts. Several of the glasses remain in their original printed plastic protective sleeves. These sleeves state that every piece of Stuart fine table glass is etched with the maker’s signature on the base. The items are presented in a original blue partitioned cardboard box.
Condition report:
The set is incomplete, with five glasses present in a box designed for six. The five glasses appear to be in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or clouding. The original presentation box shows signs of storage wear, scuffing, and has adhesive labels attached.
