Live auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £2

Buyer's Premium:

This group of Chinese decorative porcelain comprises several items finished in the Famille Rose palette, likely dating from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Included is a pair of bottle vases with globose bodies and slender, flared necks. These are decorated with hand-painted overglaze enamels depicting peacocks or phoenixes amidst blossoming peonies and pine trees, finished with stylized ruyi-head borders and gilt rims. The lot also contains a quadrangular-form vase featuring polychrome birds on floral branches. A shallow circular dish is included, decorated with a garden narrative scene featuring a female figure and a blue trellis. The dish displays an indistinct red square seal mark to the upper right of the composition. No other reign or maker marks are visible. These pieces are characteristic of Chinese export wares produced for the international market.

Condition report:

The items appear to be in generally good condition. There is visible minor wear to the gilt rims and surface enamels, which is consistent with age and use. All items bear adhesive price or lot stickers. Some surface residue and minor soiling are present. No obvious cracks, chips, or professional restorations are visible in the provided image.
