Lot 413: A Group of Moulded Composite Garden Planters with Gilt Decoration and Sunflower Motifs
A group of large garden planters constructed from a moulded black composite or plastic material. Each vessel is of a tapered cylindrical form with a wide, reinforced rim. The exterior of each planter is decorated with a wide, painted gold-toned band encircling the upper section. Centred on the side of each pot is a circular embossed emblem depicting a sunflower motif. Small orange adhesive labels are present on the upper rims of several items. The interiors show evidence of previous use with residual soil. No manufacturer marks are visible.
Condition report:
The planters are in used condition. Visible surface scuffing and minor scratches are present across the exterior of all items. There is wear to the gold-toned painted bands and residual soil is present on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Adhesive inventory labels remain attached to the rims.
