Lot 338: A Set of Six Contemporary Polished Chrome Retail Display Stands
A set of six contemporary retail display stands constructed from polished chrome-plated metal. Each stand comprises a flat, rectangular base plate supporting a square-profile upright member. The top of each upright is fitted with a semi-cylindrical arched head, designed for the display of handbags or similar accessories. Each head is equipped with a knurled side-tightening screw, allowing for the height of the stands to be adjusted. The stands are fabricated from sheet and bar metal with a high-shine polished finish. No maker’s marks or manufacturer stamps are visible on the metal surfaces.
Condition report:
The stands are in used condition. The chrome finish shows general surface wear and light scratches consistent with commercial use. There is visible adhesive residue and several small stickers present on various pieces.
