Two decorative fabric lampshades in the Victorian style, comprising one floral patterned shade and one multi-panelled beige shade. The floral shade is finished in a cream-coloured fabric with a printed design of vines and blossoms in muted tones. It features a scalloped top rim with braided trim and a base finished with a cream bobble fringe. The second shade is larger and constructed of multi-panelled beige fabric with a scalloped upper rim and ornate braided trim. The lower edge is decorated with a long, dense cream thread fringe interspersed with dark contrasting tassels. Both items are built on wire frames, with a central ring fitting visible in the larger shade. One shade bears a small white adhesive label marked F 720 and both feature orange tags handwritten with the number 325. No maker’s marks are present.
Condition report:
Both shades appear to be in good vintage condition, showing light surface wear and minor marking consistent with age and previous use. The wire frames are structurally sound and the fabric remains intact without significant tears or damage.
