Lot 295: A Trio of Floral Still Life Oil Paintings Signed Tom Campbell
A trio of vintage floral still life oil paintings, each executed in oil on canvas or canvas board. The works depict lush arrangements of roses in shades of cream, pink, and deep red, set against dark, atmospheric backgrounds. Two of the three paintings are signed Tom Campbell in the upper right-hand corner. The artist employs a traditional decorative style with expressive brushwork and significant impasto on the flower petals to create texture and three-dimensional depth. Each painting is housed in a substantial and highly ornate gilt-composition frame featuring deep foliate and scroll-work mouldings and a linen-covered inner slip. Auction lot stickers marked 2 2 and orange price tags are present on the frames.

The paintings appear to be in good overall condition. There is no visible sign of significant craquelure, flaking, or paint loss. A light layer of surface dirt is present consistent with age. The ornate frames are in good condition with minor surface wear and occasional small losses to the gilt finish, particularly at the corners and edges.
