Lot 208: Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Imari Partridge Paperweight
A Royal Crown Derby fine bone china paperweight modelled as a seated partridge. The piece is decorated in the traditional Imari palette, featuring intricate stylized plumage in iron red and cobalt blue, heavily embellished with 22 carat gold detailing. The head is finished with a blue and white teardrop pattern and a gilded beak. The base bears a red printed backstamp comprising a crown over an interlaced D logo, the text Royal Crown Derby and English Bone China, and the Roman numeral date code LV. Additional markings include a hand-painted red 9, a green s, an incised R, and a small gilded dot. A silver-coloured metal stopper is fitted to the base, embossed with the Royal Crown Derby name and logo.

The paperweight is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The gilding is bright and appears intact throughout. There is minor surface dirt and shelf-wear to the unglazed foot rim. An orange adhesive auction lot sticker numbered 208 is present on the side.
