Lot 93: A Vintage Mid-Century Brass and Onyx Standard Lamp
A vintage mid-century standard lamp, featuring a brass-toned metal stem punctuated by four turned and carved onyx decorative inserts. The circular base comprises an inset onyx panel within a decorative cast metal rim, supported by four small scroll feet. The lamp is currently fitted with a metal shade-support frame but is offered without a shade. It is equipped with a white electrical lead and a modern UK three-pin plug. The design is characteristic of Italian lighting popular during the 1960s and 1970s. No maker marks are visible, although a small orange adhesive label is present on one onyx section with no legible characters.

The item shows signs of age-related wear, including oxidation and patina to the brass-toned metal surfaces.
