Lot 275: A French style miniature brass carriage clock in a maroon leatherette travel case
A miniature carriage clock featuring a brass toned metal inner case and a maroon textured outer travel case. The clock has a circular white dial with black Arabic numerals and decorative black hands, set within a rectangular gold toned faceplate. The dial is protected by a glass window. The outer case is constructed of a rigid material covered in a maroon leatherette or leather material. No maker’s marks are visible on the dial or front plate. The movement is mechanical and has not been accessed for inspection.
Condition report:
The outer case shows significant signs of age and use, including scuffing and material loss at the corners and edges. There is a green adhesive tab on the left side of the inner frame and an orange sticker with the number 275 on the glass. The movement is untested and the working order is unknown.
