Lot 233: A contemporary embroidered cream fabric hexagonal lampshade
A contemporary tapered fabric lampshade of hexagonal form. The cream-coloured shade features overall embroidered scrolling vine and floral motifs, accented with small off-white beads at the flower heads. The interior is fitted with a standard metal spider-style frame. The top and bottom rims are finished with a matching fabric trim. This design is consistent with contemporary examples produced by Aspen Creative and Allen + Roth.
Condition report:
The lampshade is in good overall condition. The fabric, embroidery, and beadwork remain intact with no visible tears or significant staining. The internal frame is structurally sound. An adhesive auction lotting tag is present near the top rim.
