A Pair of Glass and Metal Cafetieres including La Cafetiere
A pair of French press cafetieres of varying sizes and finishes. The larger cafetiere is constructed with a borosilicate glass carafe held in a chrome-plated metal frame with a black plastic handle. The glass carafe is printed with the maker mark LA CAFETIERE and the capacity 12 CUPS. It is complete with a matching chrome-plated lid and internal plunger assembly. The smaller cafetiere features a glass carafe within a gold-toned metal frame, accompanied by a matching lid and black plastic handle. This smaller unit contains its internal plunger. No maker marks are visible on the smaller item.
Both items appear in good used condition. The glass carafes are free from visible chips or cracks. The metal components show light surface wear and marks consistent with age and use. Plunger mechanisms are present in both items. Adhesive lot and price labels are attached to the lids and handles.
