An Assortment of Cut and Etched Glassware including Vases and Bowls
A collection of decorative and functional glassware, primarily lead crystal with various cut and etched designs. The group includes a tall flared vase featuring diamond and fan cutting, a wide bowl with deep radiating wedge cuts, and a second bowl with an all-over geometric hobnail pattern. Also present is a clear glass vase with wheel-engraved floral sprays, a cylindrical jar with a metal-mounted rim, and a small circular dish with a star-cut base. The pieces are characteristic of 20th-century British manufacture, in the style of makers such as Webb Corbett or Stuart Crystal, though no factory marks or signatures are present.
The flared-rim vase has a significant chip to the rim. The metal mount on the cylindrical jar shows heavy tarnish and oxidation. Other pieces exhibit minor surface scratches and light shelf wear consistent with age. No internal cloudiness or glass sickness is observed.
