Lot 526: A Collection of Religious Rosaries and a White Metal Decades Brooch
A collection of devotional items comprising a white metal brooch and an assortment of rosaries. The brooch is designed as a rosary ring or decades brooch, featuring a circular band with ten rounded protrusions and a cross. The central ring is decorated with an incised meander or Greek key border. The reverse is fitted with a simple C-clasp pin mechanism. The assortment of rosaries features beads of various materials, including large oval reddish-brown beads, smaller round beads in black, blue, and white, and faceted translucent magenta beads. The chains, centre medals, and crucifixes are constructed from silver-tone metal. The collection includes handmade items resembling olive wood rosaries typically associated with the Holy Land.
