Lot 406: A collection of cut lead crystal glassware highball tumblers
A collection of heavy lead crystal glassware featuring deep geometric cutting. The pattern consists of a central band of multi-point starbursts set within cross-cut diamond reserves, bordered by vertical linear cuts. The bases of the tumblers are finished with a large multi-point radial star. The group includes highball-style tumblers. Faint, illegible etched markings are present on the underside of several pieces near the edge of the base. The design and weight are characteristic of 20th-century British and Irish crystal production.
Condition report:
The glassware is in good overall condition with high clarity and no evidence of internal clouding. No significant chips, cracks, or large abrasions are visible. Light surface wear and minor scratching to the underside of the bases are present, consistent with age and use.
