This set of three wooden children’s chairs. The chairs are constructed from a light-coloured hardwood, likely beech, with a clear varnish finish. No maker’s marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the exposed surfaces of the items.
Condition report:
The set is in well-used, as-found condition. There is widespread surface wear throughout, including deep scratches and abrasions to the wood. The original varnish finish shows extensive crazing and flaking across all chairs. Areas of high use exhibit a dark patina and ingrained dirt consistent with age and long-term utility.
