Lot 247: A Trio of Beatrix Potter Character Ceramic Items Including Tabitha Twitchit and Miss Moppet
A trio of glazed ceramic items featuring characters from the stories of Beatrix Potter. The lot consists of a decorative porcelain plate and two hand-painted figurines. The plate features a scalloped, moulded rim with an iridescent mother-of-pearl finish and is decorated with a central illustration of a mother cat bathing a kitten, surrounded by a floral border with a butterfly. The two figurines are attributed to Beswick; one depicts the character Tabitha Twitchit standing in a blue dress and white apron, and the other depicts Miss Moppet seated and wrapped in a blue and white checked cloth. No manufacturer marks are visible on the underside of the pieces from the provided angle.

The items appear to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or restoration. Orange auction stickers and a small white sticker are present on the surfaces.
