Lot 192: A Collection of Thomas & Friends Locomotives and Other Toy Vehicles
A collection of toys featuring characters from the Thomas & Friends series alongside various road and air vehicles. The group includes a blue diesel locomotive marked D199 with British Rail double-arrow insignia and a blue steam locomotive numbered 2, identified as the character Edward. Also present is a green locomotive or carriage. Road vehicles comprise a red die-cast and plastic double-decker bus with Round London Sightseeing Tour decals and London Transport roundel, and a white and blue die-cast racing car with Team Porsche and Minolta sponsorship livery, numbered 6. The collection is completed by a group of plastic toy aircraft, including fighter jets with camouflage patterns and US military-style markings. The items are constructed from a mix of die-cast metal and moulded plastic.
Condition report:
All items are in play-worn condition with visible paint loss, surface scuffs, and scratches to both plastic and die-cast components. There is some accumulated dust present. The items are loose and do not include original packaging. Mechanisms have not been tested, though wheels appear free-rolling.
