Lot 185: A Pair of Edinburgh Crystal Cut Glass Whisky Tumblers
A pair of lead crystal whisky tumblers manufactured by Edinburgh Crystal in Scotland. The glasses feature a traditional cut pattern consisting of a lower band of deep cross-hatched diamonds below a series of elongated vertical lanceolate or fan cuts. Each tumbler is finished with a multi-point starburst cut to the base. Both items retain their original factory adhesive labels, including a diamond-shaped label with the lion rampant crest and the text Edinburgh Crystal near the rim, and a rectangular purple label stating Quality Crystal From Scotland near the base. The glasses are presented in a purple satin-lined presentation box.
Condition report:
Both glasses are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or surface scratches. The crystal exhibits high clarity with no signs of clouding. The presentation box shows light wear consistent with storage and contains an orange inventory sticker.
