A lot of two earthenware ceramic items. The first is an oval-shaped dish or lid with a lobed rim, featuring high-relief moulded decoration of a sow and three piglets beside a green fence with red flowers. The piece is finished with hand-applied polychrome glazes in shades of pink, green, and blue. The second item is a novelty teapot designed in the form of a thatched cottage, with the handle and spout textured to resemble timber. The exterior features hand-painted relief details including windows, doors, and garden foliage in yellow, brown, and green glazes. No maker marks or backstamps are visible on the displayed surfaces.
Condition report:
Both pieces appear to be in good condition. The relief-decorated dish shows no visible chips, cracks, or restorations. The cottage-ware teapot shows minor surface wear and light crazing consistent with age and use.
