A deep, hemispherical earthenware bowl featuring a vibrant yellow glazed interior with a dense, intentional craquelure finish. The exterior surface is decorated with a mottled green and yellow glaze. No maker’s marks are visible on the interior or the visible portion of the exterior. Two small adhesive inventory stickers are present on the interior: a white label marked with the numeral 8 and an orange label marked with the numerals 5 and 6. The colour palette and glaze application are in the style of mid-20th-century European art pottery or contemporary citrus-themed designs attributed to Bordallo Pinheiro.
Condition report:
The bowl appears to be in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The crazing to the yellow glaze is an intentional decorative characteristic of the piece.
