The interior of the shank bears a recessed mark with the characters 1 8 K T followed by additional worn and illegible characters. The ring is presented in a black octagonal leatherette box with a gilt-bordered lid; the interior silk lining is printed in gold lettering with the retailer’s name LANES HOLT NORFOLK.
Condition report:
The ring is in good auctionable condition with all stones present and secure in their settings (photo 2). There are minor surface scratches and evidence of wear to the polished finish of the shank consistent with use. Minor oxidation and tarnish are visible to the underside of the setting and the interior of the shank (photo 3). The retailer\'s box shows light external wear but remains functional (photo 1).
