Buyer's Premium:

A Victorian style 9 carat yellow gold gypsy set dress ring. The ring is constructed with a wide tapering D-shape dome band, featuring a star-set trio of clear round stones. The stones are flush-set into the gold, each surrounded by a decorative incised six-pointed star border with grain-setting details. The interior of the shank bears several stamped marks within rectangular shields.

Weight: 6.29g.

Condition report:

The gold surfaces exhibit significant fine scratching and small nicks consistent with age and regular wear (photo 2). The original high-polish finish appears dulled. The stamped hallmarks on the interior shank show signs of wear but the 18, crown, leopard\'s head, and maker\'s name remain legible (photo 2). The three stones are securely held within their settings; under magnification, minor abrasions are visible to the facet edges. No cracks or repairs are visible to the band.
