A portable petrol-powered generator featuring a red tubular steel open-frame roll-cage design and a top-mounted fuel tank finished in pink paint. The unit is equipped with a recoil-start engine and a control box featuring a yellow adhesive label with a black lightning bolt electrical hazard symbol. The electrical interface includes a blue 230V 16A single-phase industrial plug on a white coiled lead, and a corresponding blue 230V 16A socket mounted to the alternator housing. A round metal vented filler cap is centrally located on the fuel tank, and a circular metal component, possibly a fuel level indicator or breather, is situated to the left of the tank. The frame is constructed from welded tubular steel, and the alternator is housed in a grey metal casing. No manufacturer name, model number, or power rating is legible on the exterior of the unit.
Condition report:
The generator is in a weathered and heavily used condition. There is extensive surface corrosion, pitting, and paint loss across the red tubular frame and the pink-painted fuel tank (photo 1). The metal components show significant oxidation consistent with long-term storage in a damp environment. The white electrical cable is dirty but appears physically intact. The mechanical condition of the engine, the integrity of the fuel system, and the electrical output functionality are untested and unknown. The unit is sold as seen.
