Lot 300: A Multi Piece Patchwork Quilt and Ruffled Accessory Set
A multi piece textile set comprising a machine-quilted throw or bedspread and a coordinating ruffled accessory, such as a valance or pillow sham. The set is constructed in a traditional patchwork style from various cotton-blend fabrics, including floral prints in shades of pink, green, and cream, red and white gingham checks, blue and white pinstripes with floral accents, and black and white botanical line art. The quilt features all-over diamond-patterned machine stitching and a multi-coloured printed border. The ruffled piece is composed of gathered strips of the same patterns. No maker’s marks, labels, or tags are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The textiles are in good used condition. The fabric shows general softening consistent with laundering and light use. The ruffled section exhibits some creasing from storage (photo 1). There are no visible stains, tears, or fraying to the fabric or the quilting stitches.
