Lot 244: An Assortment of Headwear, Bags, and a Wooden Tabletop Chest
A collection of various fashion accessories and storage items. The group includes a yellow wool felt beret featuring radial silver-tone metal studs, resting upon a wide-brimmed straw sun hat with a white fabric ribbon band. Included is a floral print fabric vanity case decorated with a blue and white rose motif and a fabric bow. A red and white polka-dot cosmetic bag is present, featuring a white printed brand name reading REVLON. The collection also contains a dark green soft-sided suitcase, a dark brown synthetic or leather handbag with a metallic knot-design emblem, and a structured red handbag. Completing the lot is a small wooden chest of four drawers with a distressed white-painted finish, featuring two carved bird-shaped pulls on the upper drawers. The wooden chest has a small orange adhesive label on the left side and a white adhesive label reading 13 13. A similar white adhesive label reading 13 13 is found on the floral case and the yellow beret.
Condition report:
The items generally appear in fair used condition. The wooden chest exhibits visible scuffing and wear to the painted finish, particularly at the edges and corners (photo 1). The straw hat shows minor deformation to the brim (photo 1). The soft goods, including the vanity case and Revlon bag, show light surface wear consistent with handling. The brown handbag displays minor creasing to the material. No significant tears or structural failures are visible in the provided image.
