Lot 245: A Trio of Assorted Ladies Handbags
This lot comprises three ladies handbags in various styles and materials. The first is a dark espresso brown shoulder bag crafted from smooth polished leather. It features a silver-toned metal scrolling openwork knot charm and a circular metal stud on the front flap. A small white adhesive tag is present near the strap attachment, but the characters are not clearly legible. The second item is an orange tote bag made from a textured synthetic material or pebble-grained leather, featuring a tapered body and top handles. The third bag is a large hobo-style shoulder bag in a beige or buff-coloured smooth material. No serial codes, date codes, or internal maker labels are visible across the collection.
Condition report:
The dark brown leather bag shows surface scuffing and creasing to the leather consistent with use (photo 1). The orange tote bag exhibits significant wear, particularly at the bottom corners and along the edges, where the orange surface layer has rubbed away to reveal a lighter base material (photo 1). The beige hobo bag is in generally fair condition with some minor surface marks and light creasing visible on the exterior (photo 1).
