A collection of four art glass paperweights, demonstrating various traditional glassmaking techniques. The group includes a concentrated millefiori paperweight featuring a dense arrangement of complex canes in shades of white, pink, blue, and yellow, set against a dark ground. A clear glass paperweight contains a lampworked floral inclusion with multi-layered red, yellow, and white petals, and green foliage at the base. A spherical pink paperweight displays a bullicante or controlled bubble effect, with air bubbles trapped in concentric layers around a textured pink core. The fourth clear glass paperweight features a central lampworked flower with four white petals tipped in red, surrounded by a dense field of fine seed bubbles. All items are clear glass with internal decorative inclusions. An orange adhesive label on the pink paperweight reads 70. A second orange adhesive label on the millefiori paperweight also reads 70. No signatures or etched manufacturer marks are visible on the upper surfaces of the glass.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition. The glass on all four pieces is clear without visible internal clouding or sickness (photo 1). No chips, cracks, or significant surface scratches are visible from the overhead perspective. As the bases are not shown, shelf wear cannot be assessed.
