Lot 549: A contemporary three-seat sofa upholstered in off-white textured fabric
A large contemporary three-seat sofa upholstered in an off-white textured woven fabric. The piece features a minimalist design with wide, square track arms and loose, box-bordered seat and back cushions. A small white rectangular adhesive tag is present on the front face of the right-hand arm; the characters are not legible as a manufacturer name and the label appears to be a stock or inventory tag. No maker’s marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the exterior of the sofa. The upholstery is a coarse-weave textile throughout.
Condition report:
The sofa is in fair condition and shows signs of significant previous use. There is noticeable creasing and sagging to the seat cushions, indicating a loss of interior loft (photo 1). Light surface soiling and faint staining are present on the seat cushions (photo 1). The upholstery shows minor pilling and wear, particularly on the arms and leading edges (photo 1). The piece would benefit from professional cleaning and cushion maintenance.
