Both items exhibit signs of circulation and age. The 1819 gold-coloured token shows moderate surface wear to the portrait and legends, with numerous fine scratches and contact marks visible across the obverse field (photo 1). The 1806 copper coin displays significant wear and loss of detail to the portrait and inscriptions, a dark brown patina, and a single circular piercing through the upper edge above the crown of the head (photo 1).
