Lot 420: Two modern circular wall clocks, one by Jones
Two modern circular wall clocks. The first clock features a dark grey plastic frame and a white dial. The dial is printed with black Arabic numerals oriented towards the centre and features black baton-style hour and minute hands. No maker’s mark is visible on the dial. The second clock is a Jones wall clock with a pale pink plastic frame and a cream dial. The dial is printed with black Arabic numerals and the name ‘JONES’ in black block capitals above the centre point. It is fitted with black spade-style hour and minute hands and a slim black second hand. Two adhesive labels are present on the glass lens: a small white square label printed with the numeral ‘7’ and an orange label with the handwritten number ‘420’. Both clocks are constructed with plastic frames and glass lenses and likely contain quartz movements.
Condition report:
Both clocks are in used condition with minor surface dust and reflections visible on the lenses (photo 1). The Jones clock has two adhesive labels attached to the exterior of the glass lens (photo 1). Both clocks are currently untested for functional working order.
