Lot 353: A contemporary matte black metal gooseneck floor lamp
A contemporary floor lamp constructed from metal with a matte black finish. The design comprises a circular weighted base and a slender cylindrical pole leading to a flexible gooseneck upper section, which allows for multidirectional adjustment of the light source. The shade is of a conical, bell-shaped form. The lamp is fitted with a black plastic-coated power cable terminating in a standard UK 3-pin plug. A small white rectangular adhesive label is present on the rear of the shade head, bearing the printed number 7. A circular orange adhesive label is affixed to the side of the shade with the handwritten number 353. No manufacturer names or further markings are legible on the visible surfaces.
Condition report:
The lamp is in fair condition with visible surface dust across all components. There are light scuffs and minor surface marks to the matte black finish on both the shade and the base (photo 1). The flexible gooseneck maintains its tension and position. As a used electrical item, it is sold as untested and requires professional PAT testing before use.
