Lot 670: A Vintage Hardwood and Striped Canvas Folding Deck Chair
A vintage mid-20th century X-frame folding chair designed for garden or leisure use. The frame is constructed from dark-stained hardwood and features a classic folding mechanism with metal pivot bolts. The seat and backrest are formed from a single continuous piece of heavy-duty canvas upholstery, featuring a multi-tonal vertical stripe pattern in ochre yellow, pale blue, and forest green. The canvas is wrapped and secured around the upper and lower cross-rails. A small orange rectangular adhesive label is present on the lower rail, but no legible text or manufacturer’s marks are identifiable.
Condition report:
