Lot 491: A Collection of Five Porcelain Figurines Including Royal Doulton
This lot comprises five glazed porcelain figurines portraying women in period costume. Included in the collection is a Royal Doulton figurine titled The Open Road, model number HN 4161, which depicts a woman in a peach-coloured hooded cloak decorated with dark purple ribbons. The assortment also contains a figure wearing a wide-brimmed white hat with a blue ribbon, a blue bodice, and a flowing beige skirt, holding a bouquet of white flowers. Another smaller figure is shown in a pale yellow dress with a white off-the-shoulder neckline. A fourth figurine is dressed in a pale blue gown with a pink floral detail at the waist and a wide-brimmed hat with a blue ribbon. The final piece features a lady in a wide gown with a green and pink floral motif. Identification stickers are present on the items, including white labels numbered 14 and one orange label marked 491.
