Lot 415a: A Collection of Briar Smoking Pipes with Savinelli and Chacom Presentation Boxes and a Wooden Pipe Rack
A collection of smoking pipes and accessories featuring pieces from notable manufacturers Savinelli and Chacom. The assembly includes pipes in various forms and finishes, including smooth polished briar, rusticated, and sandblasted textures. Maker identification is supported by original packaging, including a green rectangular presentation box marked Chacom France and two blue Savinelli boxes, one featuring the Savinelli 1876 logo and the other a repeating brand pattern. One polished briar pipe positioned on the rack base is stamped with the mark RAW on the shank. The collection is presented with a wooden pipe rack designed with four circular rests and a decorative metal plate to the centre depicting a pastoral scene. The pipes are constructed with briar bowls and typically fitted with black vulcanite or acrylic stems.
